Marvel's The Avengers is out today on Blu-ray and DVD

Marvel’s The Avengers is out today on Blu-Ray and DVD, but the special 10-disc limited edition collector’s set that we told you about in June has been delayed until the spring of 2013. When it is released, that feature-packed set will include not only The Avengers but also all five superhero movies that led up to the forming of the Marvel super group. It is available now for pre-order.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns – Part I: The animated version of Frank Miller’s celebrated graphic novel comes to life with Peter Weller providing the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne. You’ll find the trailer for the animated movie below. Wait until you see this movie’s Robin!

Bond 50: The Complete 22 Film Collection: This collectible box set features all 22 James Bond movies on Blu-ray, ranging from Dr. No to Quantum of Solace. The collection also features more than 130 hours of bonus features including never-before-seen material from the Bond archives.

Nine of the movies have never before seen available on Blu-Ray: Goldeneye, Octopussy, The Spy Who Loved Me, You Only Live Twice, The Living Daylights, Tomorrow Never Dies, Diamonds are Forever, A View to a Kill and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

There also are behind-the-scenes videoblogs that look at the making of the upcoming Bond movie Skyfall, which opens in theaters Nov. 9. (The box set has an extra slot in it for you to fit your Skyfall disc.)
