Carey Roberts is a Senior Producer at Pyramid Productions and is a regular contributor to Global Television’s “Inside Entertainment.” He also produces several programs for W Network and Corus Entertainment.

Carey attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. He earned his BA in Communications in 1991. He minored in both English and Psychology. After two years in the workforce, Carey decided to pursue journalism again. He enrolled in the Broadcast Journalism program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (B.C.I.T) and earned his Broadcast Journalism Diploma in 1996. During his studies, Carey did a practicum with “The Movie Show” (Pyramid Productions) in Calgary.

Working as a freelance radio reporter, Carey still kept in touch with Pyramid Productions, and signed on full time with the company in July 1996. He began as a production assistant and worked his way up to host of “The Movie Show (1997-1999).
